For more than 30 years, Arkansas runners have gathered in the Ouachita National Forest for the Full Moon 25K/50K, one of the state's most unique endurance events.
With nighttime miles, summer heat, challenging climbs, and a finish line breakfast waiting at Camp Ouachita, this race has become a rite of passage for Arkansas trail runners.
The Full Moon Run returns on July 18.

After more than 20 years of planning and construction, the Delta Heritage Trail is finally nearing completion.
Work is underway on the final White River bridge, the last major piece needed to connect the entire 84.5-mile trail through the Arkansas Delta. When complete, it will be one of the longest rail-trails in the region, creating new opportunities for cycling, hiking, horseback riding, and trail tourism.

Arkansas mountain biking just took a giant leap forward.
The new OZ Trails Bike Park in Bella Vista is set to open June 12, bringing Arkansas' first chairlift-served mountain bike park to the Ozarks. From beginner-friendly flow trails to expert gravity runs, this new destination could change mountain biking in the Natural State for years to come.
