Attention Pickleball Players: As of 12/1/25, Vulcan Pickleball Park is closed. The Tanners/Vulcan property is for sale, so the park is closed pending a new owner’s plans to re-open the park later. We deeply appreciate all the community and fun that has been shared here. It was a good run!

Attention: Despite repeated attempts of asking players not to trash the courts and parking lot, and to turn off the lights when finished at night, a few bad apples have ruined it for all. Effective today, we have been forced to disconnect the court lights again.

The Vulcan Pickleball Park courts are closed at dark. Anyone caught here after dark will be subject to having the law called on them for trespassing.

Cooler weather is coming (we hope!) and that means the courts will be busier than ever! The new paddle stacks are here, and they are a great way to keep the courts friendly and moving around fairly. There are two stacks near the back wall, with eight slots in both to represent a full roster for both courts. Want to be next up on the court? Get your paddle waiting in the stack.

Thank you again to the group of local players that raised money to replace the nets and add these paddle stacks for the Vulcan Pickleball Park. We really appreciate you helping to keep the park a friendly, fun place for all the players in our community.

Update: the court lights are still staying off for now. There are still people damaging the new nets (sitting on them, playing soccer, etc.) that were funded with generous donations from the pickleball community, and damage to the lock on the light box.

We are open to alternative solutions for monitoring the courts after hours, so if you have ideas, or would like to volunteer, message us directly.

As it was said before, we hope this is only temporary. If you have any information on the group responsible for this vandalism, let us know. We hope to see you on the courts soon!

Attention: Due to the unfortunate vandalism that has been happening on the courts overnight, we have been forced to disconnect the court lights. The courts are under surveillance in hopes to catch those responsible. They are not only trashing the courts, but they are sitting on the nets.

Hopefully this is only temporary, but if you have any reports on who is vandalizing the courts, please privately message us and let us know. Until then, we are keeping them closed from 9PM to 7AM.

Thank you for helping us take care of the courts!

Keep it clean, folks 🧹 Help us keep the courts in shape by cleaning up your trash as you leave the courts! We love having the courts free and open 24/7, but we need your help to manage it. Thanks for being team players, pickleballers! 🌞

Throwback to this autumn day in October, when Vulcan employees played on the courts with Smith's Consumer Products employees. The team here loves getting new players into pickleball!

Attention Beginners! The weather is just about perfect for you to be interested in learning the fun sport of pickleball, and we have resources for you! Beginners are welcome on the courts, but sometimes the hardest part is learning all the rules.

We'd love to recommend our favorite local instructors for those wanting to learn the basics (or wanting to get better faster!): David Tappe of Kefi Pickleball, Larry Patrick, and Aaron Fuhrman. Contact any of these great instructors directly for more information on how to schedule a clinic or lesson at Vulcan Pickleball Park.

Happy National Pickleball Day, everyone! Hope you get to celebrate this fun day with a few games on the court!

The Tanners parking lot is getting a glow up for the next two weeks. Parking is limited during that time, so the courts will be closed from 7:30AM-4:00PM during the week to guarantee enough parking for employees and safe travel for our shipping trucks.

Outside of those hours, players visiting the courts can use the truck entrance off K-Tech Lane and park single-file along the back of the warehouse expansion that was finalized earlier this year.

The work will be worth the wait, pickleball friends! Thank you for your patience!

UPDATE! Vulcan Pickleball Park is happy to have open, free courts available for the community. In the interest of keeping them free and open for play, the park is no longer accepting reserved courts for anyone who isn't an employee at Vulcan and Tanners. It will be first come, first serve, with the expectation that players keep the pickleball community spirit.

The schedule below has not changed, but any future court reservations you see here will be for company purposes only. There are several private courts that offer reservations in the area, so if you're organizing a large group, keep them in mind! Thanks, everyone!
