Couldn’t have asked for better weather or better people. The miles were right, the hills kept it honest, and Chuck’s stories carried us the rest of the way.

This route hit the sweet spot. Friendly enough for first-timers, but still just enough bite🤘

🚲 Bikepacking Clinic Pt. 2: Practical Ride

Time to take it out of the classroom and into the woods.

We’re heading to Sorghum Hollow Horse Camp for a beginner-friendly overnight to put everything from Part One into practice. Real gear. Real miles. Real lessons.

This is not a race. Just a chance to learn, try things out, and get a feel for bikepacking in a low-pressure setting.

Last night’s Bike Packing 101 discussion was a success! 30+ people attended to hear Blake Slater, Chuck Campbell, Johnny Brazil as well as local bike packing enthusiasts share their advice and reasons why they bike pack.
There will be future bike packing informational events, rides and trips. Those dates will be posted in the future.

John Whittington crushed the field and crushed the previous record on the OTC this weekend.

All racers are safely home and regaling their families and coworkers with stories of the crazy s**t they did this weekend.

Many riders had hallucinations of some lady with a grill set up in the middle of no-where cooking made to order meals!
