Here's a fun one for yall!! I don't know why, but when I saw that first photo, I just thought of the album cover for Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power. 😂 These photos are from the 2026 Arkansas Youth State Championship Tournament back in February! All of these are photos of the same wrestler, let's call it #WrestlerWrapUp! This was actually her first EVER tournament, and she got on the podium! How insane is that!? She trains out of @sawa_trained! This youth wrestler is always putting on a show wherever she goes, so I had to make a Wrestler Wrap Up. I would love to do more of these types of features! Especially for AR wrestlers! This is JJ Courchesne, so if you are ever at an event for @arusawrestling and you see her name on the mat assignments, SPRINT!!! 🏃‍♂️ Ms. Courchesne is always looking for huge throws. She's a fan of takedowns, in case you can't tell! It's always been about helping kids. When you help kids they buy in and explains why we have had 11 State Champs. in the last 15 years. WIth all our JH kids coming up, we are just getting started!

Cool that our old coach gets recognized. We are entering our 16th season at GR. ! !

Your kid didn't get the results expected, because they didn't have someone their size to train with. Lets think about 2018 when our 160 only had our 220 to train with.
We only had four kids and all four made it to the state finals.
That 160 was our first State Champ. It's about the work they put in. We had 4 out of 5 as State Champs the next year. Our club practices have all sizes.
