South Arkansas Sports mourns the unexpected loss of Chris Bell. Chris was kind, loving, funny, always made people smile and had a servants heart. If you have ever been to one of our tournaments, you have seen Chris serving in anyway he possibly could. From working the front gate, to taking umpires water, to working a scoreboard or keeping a scorebook. Chris just loved to be at the baseball park but more than that, Chris loved people!
Chris is the Uncle of SAS partner Dale Gann, so we ask that you remember Chris’s family and the SAS family in your thoughts and prayers in the coming days.

Looking forward to a great weekend at Kimery Park in Hot Springs. All four fields are full and we have 29 teams! Brackets will be released later today. Can’t wait to welcome these teams to Hot Springs this weekend!

At Thursday’s press conference, Governor Hutchinson has opened baseball to begin in the state of Arkansas on June 1. We at SAS are excited to resume our tournament season, while following the guidelines set fourth by the governor, the CDC and USSSA. The City of Arkadelphia and the City of Hot Springs have approved the reopening of their parks so we have the go ahead to play ball. Below you will find our updated schedule for the month of June, and we do plan to add some tournaments in July and August also.
