Personal Training customized to fit YOUR goals. Everyone’s goals are unique and personal to them. You can be younger next year! Why am I personal trainer?

The basis of my mission in the fitness field is to build a trusting relationship with each of my clients, concentrating on their “why” as much as "what" their fitness goals are. If we can determine the “why” we can better understand what we need to do to help you with the “what”. It’s the “why” that motivates a person to work towards the “what”. There is an inner beauty in all women… and fitness is often the tool that reveals this beauty.

Inner beauty is revealed through the personal confidence that you are healthy, vibrant and at peace with how you look and feel, and there is no one that can give this to you, only you can choose to seek a richer level of life through fitness.

You do not have to be fit to feel beautiful, but often a lack of health and fitness robs a woman of self-esteem, destroys body image and drains the vital energy anyone needs to live life at a higher level of intensity.

True fitness is being the best you can be as who you are now in life, not comparing yourself against any other role model or against a time in life when you might have been in the perfect shape that defined you at the time.

Fitness allows you to get involved in life, chase the kids around the yard, walk the beaches hand-in-hand with the one you love, enjoy a more intense intimacy often denied by poor health and to truly live instead of being regulated to sitting quietly in an old chair, feeling miserable and letting life pass you by as a spectator in what is supposed to be your chance to star in the play you were born to be in… your own life.

We were born to be fit, to laugh, to play, to run, to walk through quiet woods and along sunny beaches. We were born to live a life of richness in body, mind and spirit, connected to the ones we love, yet we often lose all of this because our health and fitness denies us the chance to be all we can be.

You can never become who you were meant to be in life without being as healthy and fit as you can be today, now, when every day can be your best day ever. Life was never meant for us to give up everything that defines us simply because we give up and fail to value our health, wellness and future.

There is an inner beauty in all women and fitness is the hammer and chisel that sets this beauty free from everything that hides you in the dark and that diminishes your life.

Chase fitness because you can, because you love your life and because you refuse to ever have a day where you can’t be the best you can be and truly alive and involved in life.

Move, live, love and eat in a way that lets all inner beauty shine for the rest of us.

Why not choose you?

What day did you decide to quit on yourself?

When did you decide you just weren’t worth the effort?

When was that moment you decided your life just isn’t worth doing the work?

What was the moment you decided eating badly was more important than your health?

When did you decide exercise was just too much work and you aren’t worth it?

When sitting watching the world pass by was the way you wanted to live?

What call made you decide your phone is more important than your family?

When did your work became just a job you suffer through each day?

When did you give up your dream and settle for “just enough?”

We all have to make choices every day.

We choose to live and value ourselves or we choose to give up.

We choose to value what we love, or we quit.

Do yourself a favor?

Choose to chase the best you can be.

Choose life and live it hard every single day.

If you are over 40, you work out today so you don’t become that decrepit old fart hanging on the back of the cart for support at The Walmart 10 years from now.

This guy made a bad choice years ago and that choice was to ignore how much working out would affect who he would be in the future.
One minute he was happy just maintaining then p**f, he was older and swinging a golf club like he was trying to kill a chicken with a ball bat because his body got stiff, old and every muscle he ever had left him for someone who gave a damn.

Most of nastiness of aging is self-inflicted.
You get a little older then you give yourself permission to slow down, back off, take it a little easier, but in fitness after 40 is when you need to get your rapidly aging backside moving more.

That old dude who can’t get off the toilet at age 50 without pulling on the bathroom door with both hands is you in a few years because you refused to do a little strength training now.

That old lady sitting on the porch watching her grandkids play in the yard at age 60 because she is too out of shape to do anything but sit and watch life pass her by will be you if you don’t embrace fitness now in your life.

People after 40 make bad choices in fitness and the older we get the dumber we get.

Do you really want to be the guy who has to turn sideways to step off a curb at age 55?

Do you really want to be the people in their early 70s who can’t have s*x, can’t walk on a beach, can’t visit a park with their family because they refused to accept that fitness isn’t for today, it is for the rest of your old life?

If you are over 40 join a gym and get a real coach who understands you and strength training.

Strength training means you pick up heavy things, put them over your head several times a week and get strong for life.

But you need a coach.
You need a plan.
And you need to be terrified of becoming old when you could have fought back and raged against the storm of being a silly old person who could have led a better life.

You will grow old.
But you have a lot of control as to how you age.
And do you really want to have to have help getting off a toilet when you are only 60?

You wake up for work and can’t button your pants.
Too much belly; too little pants.

You wear sweat pants to work and are happy it is very casual Friday.

You fly on an airplane and realize you have more butt than seat.

You look in the mirror while standing naked.
You give the mirror the finger,
sigh miserably and are disgusted.
Finally, now, today, and for real this time,
you decide to fight back.

You try a cheap gym and realize everyone is just there for the free candy, and no one ever changes. You start fat, and end fat, and there is no help in those gyms.

You pay about the same to join that gym as buying a cheap pizza, and get exactly what you paid for, which is nothing of value. The gym is so bad you should have eaten the pizza.

You suddenly realize your health, life, and the chance of ever having s*x again with anyone besides yourself, might be worth an investment each month.

There is this little neighborhood training gym, the antithesis of the big box, soulless chains.

Your trainer whispers,
“Yes, we can fix this my friend, let’s get started.”

You get there 2-3 times per week,
and after a month or two, things start to change.

Your attitude is better, your pants fit, and you walk around the house naked all proud of yourself.

Even the dog is amazed at how good you look and walks around naked with you.

Your still fat friends are jealous and join your gym.

You get promoted at work because of all that new confidence.

You have a date Friday and practice your “naked, I am walking to the fridge after s*x” walk.

There is always a trigger that gets you going.
It might be the pants, the divorce, the class reunion, or just the personal, I have had enough of myself.

But a good gym can change your life and a good coach patiently gets it done every day.

Get yourself full naked and check out that mirror… today just might be the day.

I don’t want to be the guy struggling behind a walker.

I don’t want to be the person who sits and watches while the others live.

I won’t let myself become the one who is left at home because he can’t keep up.

The most miserable workouts today still will make me a stronger person 10 years from now.

I am not ready to be the guy who has to hang on the back of a shopping buggy to get food.

You are too young to give up the most precious thing you own, which is the quality of your life.

And all of this my choice….

I choose to move or fade.

I choose to live or die from rust.

Aging can’t be stopped, but I can take it personally and fight back.

How long any of us live is an unknown, but we control the essence of our life.

Your time will come and there is nothing you can do about it.

How you choose to live, move, eat, think and chase life is all you every day.

I am young to be this old, and too old to be young, but living with passion is a choice you make every second you are awake.

Me??? Movement is the most beautiful thing in life and I refuse to give up without a fight.

Most of us have forgotten the best days of our lives.

The days where we were physically happy, healthy, beaming, in the best shape we can be, and just for a while, we had it all including wearing the smile of children who realize running and laughing is the best life has to offer.

Through the years, we slowly trade our best version of ourselves for stress, laziness, excuses about time, and the comfort of food that destroys everything good about us. We never intended to let ourselves go; we just let who we were when we had it all slowly slip away as days hardly remembered at all.

We are willing to accept lesser versions of who we are when we can still have it all.
We walked away from how good life can be when we are in the best health of our life.
We have made fitness mechanical, detailed, rigid and boring when it never had to be that way.
We forget how to play, chase the dog, run with the kids or just walk along a quiet path holding hands and enjoying a few hours of just us.

You can find your way back.
You can be the best version of who you were meant to be at any age.
Your life can, and will, get better if you understand the most valuable thing you own is the ability to get up and move and feel good about your health and who you are.

That day you were at your best…. the day you felt vibrant, alive and timeless, can come to you again if you just move and bring health back into your life and soul.

Fitness isn’t about the perfect body, fitness is about the health of your spirit, the happiness in your soul and the wonder of life made better by the simple pleasure of movement.

No one can be who we once were the day when we were young and had it all.
But we can be the best of who we are today and that is enough for a beautiful life.

There is nothing you own, nothing you do, no stress or sacrifice in life worth the loss of health that makes everything else possible.
Movement is life and your best day ever just might be tomorrow.
