HTASO 2017 Board Elections
Voting is currently underway at www.TASO.org for the following positions of the Houston Baseball Chapter:
Vice President - Ken Leventhal and Danny Hernandez
Treasurer/Secretary - Bruce Sanford
Certified Director - Danny Hernandez, Dave Orton and Eric Rosar
Approved Director - Glen Dewease and Ben Wood
Voting:
All HTASO members are eligible to vote for the Vice President and Treasurer/Secretary positions. The director positions are elected by members currently in that classification so only member classified as certified in the 2017 season may vote for the certified position and only members classified as approved in the 2017 season may vote for the approved position.
Voting will take place until May 15, 2017. Login at www.TASO.org and use the link in the top right of the members portal.
Houston TASO
TASO is an independent organization, providing support, resources and training for Texas high school sports officials.
The Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO) is an association approved by the University Interscholastic League (UIL) and Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) to officiate high school games in Texas. The Houston Chapter of TASO-Baseball (HTASO) has approximately 300 umpires that are authorized to umpire high school baseball games in Harris and surrounding counties where
