Rain delays, cancellations, and constant schedule changes, but we finally got our time on the field.

The Oilers went 4-1 on the weekend and battled through a scoreless Championship game that pushed into ITB. In the end, they came out on top against a tough Bombers squad. 🏆💪

This week we’re highlighting the heart behind the plate for the Oilers, our catchers!

Mila Vega, our starting catcher, has been part of the Oilers family for the past year and a half. Her hard work, leadership, and dedication never go unnoticed. She gives 100% every time she steps on the field and is truly a wall behind the plate. Her toughness and commitment set the tone for the entire team.

And let’s not forget Mia Fuentes! Although she’s a new addition to the squad, she’s already making a big impact. With strong defense and a hot bat, Mia continues to prove she’s ready to rise to any challenge thrown her way.

We’re proud of both of these athletes and the energy they bring to the field every game. The future is bright behind the plate for the Oilers! 💪🔥

Battled all weekend at the USSSA Open Class March Madness and came out 2nd place! 🥈
Dropped an early bracket game and had to grind our way through the loser’s bracket and these girls did just that.

15 hours at the field. 8 total games. 6 back-to-back.
No excuses, just heart, and determination.

Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. These Oilers showed what resilience really looks like. 💙💪
