スポーツに、科学を足して『スポーツ医科学』があるように、
ダンスにも、科学を足して『ダンス医科学』が存在します。

このことについて、IADMS（国際ダンス医科学会）に参加した米国理学療法士のナツコさんとIADMSに10年以上も携わり、今年出来たばかりの Dance for Health Committee （国際ダンス医科学会、健康のためのダンス委員会委員）という、IADMSでも最も新しい部門であるDance for Healthの2022-2024年の委員を務める、クミヨさんと3人で『ダンス医科学』について楽しく熱く語っていきたいと思います！

また当日は、ご参加くださった皆様と出来るだけインタラクティブ（おしゃべり）していきたいと考えておりますので、普段から気になることや、3人の話で気になったことをぜひ質問してきてください！

私自身も2021年の10月のIADMSで『ファシアシステム』について話したり、ヒューストン・バレエ団のスタジオで実際に現場で行なっていることを他の参加してくださっているドクターやPT、ATC、S&Cやダンスティーチャーを交えて実際に行なっているキューイングやエクササイズを発表させていただきました。

世界では、どのようなことが発表されているのか？
どのようなトレンドなエクササイズが出回っているのか？
昔ながら行われていたことは、実際今はどのように考えられているのか？

様々なことが、いろんな角度から見えてきますので、是非皆様この機会をお見逃しなく。

また、このイベントは今後始まる『ダンス医科学のSALON』にも繋がり、キックオフ・イベントともなっております！

UPDATES:

Hana has been DISCHARGED and came back home at around noon today! She has missed us so much and she was a bit panic at the hospital after her surgery, but she is sleeping good at home after eating her meal and drinking water!

Now she will have to rest very well at least 2 weeks with 3 times of 5-minute-walks every day until her next check up in 2 weeks. It will cost about $350 - $400 (oh, Hana... you became so expensive, oh well... we love you so much (lol))... ;(

She will get another check up in 8 weeks then, she will be able to get back to normal hopefully.

I am very happy that I have chosen this hospital even though I had some friends told me that they charge too much. But I feel like they do as much care as we paid for including their communication before/after the surgery, so I am happy with what they did to Hana and now we just hope that she gets better as soon/healthy/strong as where she used to be with 90-95% they told me that she can be in the near future!

Please help us out with the cost for our fur baby’s surgery if anyone could✨

After waiting to see the specialist for 2.5 months we were finally able to set up a surgery appointment for Hana’s torn ACL next week.

The insurance may cover but it will be up to $2,500 and $6,500 is a lot for us right now especially because recently the catalytic converter from our Prius ($3,000+ to fix) was stolen for the SECOND time while we were trying to plan a trip to see our family overseas for the first time in 3 years.

But we still would like to see Hana’s smile at the dog park and do things together as a family! She gives me so much love always and supports me so much!

ハナちゃんの膝の手術費用のサポート協力お願いいたします！
ドッグランで走ったり泳いだりが大好きのハナちゃんが、2月からケンケン歩き。。ようやく2ヶ月半待ちの専門医の診察後、膝の腱ACLの断裂で、手術が決定も予算額がなんと＄6500！

保険に入っていて、カバーされても最高でも$2500くらいまでしか出してもらえそうになく、さらにはつい最近プリウスの部品をまた盗難されてしまい(近年2回目！)、ちょうど修理に$3,900以上かかったばかり。。
また、双子を連れて3年ぶりの一時帰国も計画しようとしていたところだったので、なかなかこの額は大きいです。。
しかも、もうすぐ切れるビザ更新手続きを会社が少し手こずっていて、、どうなるかちょっぴり不安な夏💦(もし国際引越しがあれば、それも自己負担。。)

でも！かけがえのない家族のハナちゃん。。
いつも私の心をサポートしてくれるハナちゃん。。
まだ5歳だし、たくさんまだ走って笑顔を見せてほしいのです。。
