This Veterans Day, Ranch Ride Carriage Drive honors America's veterans! Do you know why Veterans Day is always observed on the 11th? It was originally called Armistice Day. It was meant to not only commemorate the end of World War I, but to memorialize the exact time of the end of hostilities: the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. Today, Veterans Day honors ALL those who served honorably in the military – in wartime or peacetime.

Huge thanks to the Tejas Carriage Association for inviting us out to support their Beginner to Winner Day of Carriage Driving Education in Greenville, Texas! This was a fabulous opportunity to share a wonderful weekend with many new friends in the carriage driving community! We were able to share two seminars on Saturday and two lesson sessions on Sunday with this marvelous group of enthusiasts. A special shout-out to Ruth and Paul Graves, who are not just great organizers for this event - they are also great hosts! Thanks for all you did for us, and to make the event a success!

UPDATE: OUR DRIVING CLINIC IS POSTPONED! Due to inclement weather, our clinic at McLennan Community College's Highlander Ranch in Waco is being postponed to a later date, to be determined. We still have space available... contact Aimee Edwards to get on the list and to be contacted when this clinic is re-scheduled!
We are still looking forward to seeing everyone at their beautiful Highlander Ranch for two days of fun and learning about techniques of harnessing, driving single or pairs, and camaraderie among our fellow carriage drivers!
