Slight increase on reps this week and testing for a 5 reps max at the end of the week! Plus a 1 rep max if you’re feeling good.

Ending the last week with a challenge. Increase reps everyday for the next 10 days. Push to hit the 100 and 50 reps at the end!

We are super eager and ready for the month of Squatober. While we, as group at CrossFit Acute, will be following Sorinex’s program at our box, we would love to have as many people participate as possible! The end goal here is to stay consistent, train with intention and to get strong while we are at it. We know work and personal obligations doesn’t always give us the time or flexible to train.

So we made it a bit easier by providing 2 tracks you can follow that will require less time and slightly more flexibility. The “No Equipment” track will be body weight only and will focus on squats, push ups and planks. All levels can perform this. The “Equipment” track will consist of squat and press variations along with plank work as well. This version will have you perform sets and reps based on a 1RM percentage of certain movements.

As always, if you are new to training, please consult your physician before starting. Or if you have any questions, reach out to us or your coach/trainer. We are not in anyway affiliated with Sorinex’s and only offer these program track for everyone to enjoy. Most importantly, have fun and let’s get to work.
