Andy Ruiz Jr spoke on Jake Paul’s fight with Anthony Joshua and gave advice few men in the world are qualified to share. Ruiz told TMZ that Paul’s only real path is the right hand. One clean shot can change the direction of the fight just as it did in 2019 when Ruiz shocked Joshua at Madison Square Garden and stopped him in the seventh round.

The problem for Jake Paul is the danger he is stepping into. This is a massive leap in competition and a drastic shift from the original idea of facing Gervonta Tank Davis. Joshua is a natural heavyweight with world level power and a clear physical advantage in every category.

Justin Gaethje will fight Paddy Pimblett for the interim lightweight belt at UFC 324, the first big Paramount era card, with the winner promised a shot at Ilia Topuria when the champion returns from personal leave. 

That announcement set off immediate backlash because Arman Tsarukyan currently holds the official number one spot at lightweight after his recent win over Dan Ho**er, yet he was completely bypassed for the interim slot.  Ariel Helwani and others have called it an interim title fight that does not even include the top contender, openly questioning what is next for Tsarukyan and why rankings are being ignored. 

Tsarukyan has responded by accusing Topuria of favoring an easier matchup and arguing that he represents a much greater threat than Pimblett, while fans debate whether this is smart business or another example of star power winning over sporting merit.
