Rebound weight gain. 💨Why?
Post contest weight gain is commonly referred to as “rebound.”
Why? Here are some facts:
1. Caloric Restriction
2. Metabolic adaptation
3. Water retention
4. Paycological factors
5. Hormonal Changes
6. Loss of muscle mass
Here are my recommendations to mitigate the rebound:
* Gradually reintroduce calories
* Structure a meal plan/diet
* Continue but adjust your cardio and training
* Self care and reflect on your accomplishments in your fitness journey rebound:

I love exploring what it means to be the best version of myself and discover steps to help accomplish just that.
I’ve learned that to be my best self I make sure I’m doing what brings me a sense of happiness, purpose, and meaning sticking to my values. It’s been a wonderful ride.
