GG's Infant Aquatics Academy Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death in children five and under. At GG's Infant Aquatics I teach kids the "SWIM•Float•SWIM" technique.

I prepare them to learn to survive if they find themselves alone in the water. A little bio about me:

My name is Jennifer Hemenway and I grew up in Texas. I am a certified Infant Aquatics Instructor, and I am the owner of GG’s Infant Aquatics Academy in DFW. I teach in Keller and surrounding areas. I have been around water my entire life. You will often find me at a pool, lake or beach. I raised my kids to love the water as well. They were taught to swim at a very young age and went on to be competitive swimmers throughout their adolescence. I was very involved in their teams and on their swim boards. One thing that has not changed since my kids were little is that drowning is the leading cause of accidental death in children five and under. Knowing there are steps you can take in preventing this has motivated me to teach and share these techniques to every child I can. Drowning is preventable. I have trained and logged more than 250 hours of hands-on training from two of the best instructors in the industry. I have taught hundreds of children, 6 months old to 6 yrs, life saving skills. I am certified in Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED and Safety Training for Swim Coaches from American Red Cross. I am so excited to share my passion for water and bring safety and life saving skills to a new generation. Drowning doesn't discriminate — and it doesn't just happen in pools.

Bathtubs. Buckets. Backyard ponds. Bathrooms. Even a few inches of standing water can be enough. We tend to picture drowning happening at the pool or the beach, but it can happen anywhere water is present — often in places that feel completely safe.
That's why water safety isn't just a "pool rule." It's an everywhere rule.
