It โ€˜twas a busy weekend at Topic of Discussion!

We had choreography for three of our teams, a stunt clinic with three teams from Onyx, stunt choreography with three teams from SS, and three gym rentals all crammed into a three-day period. ๐Ÿซจ

We had so much fun working with athletes from other programs while also being present to support our very own!

Majority of these athletes have never done these building elements, and recently learned them when we first started practicing!

Our coaches physically getting into these groups and doing all the different necessary stunting positions has really helped us push these skills along.

The real, the raw, the unedited version - always!

Itโ€™s very unheard of for a fifth year program to step into the realm of the world championship, but it was also unheard of for a girl to graduate from college, move across the country, and start a cheer gym in a state she isnโ€™t from. Thatโ€™s been hard and felt impossible at times, too!

Nevertheless, keeping God at the center of everything, on top of being delusional - will get you a lot further than most would believe.

So here we are!

Doing what we do.
What weโ€™ve always done.

Starting from scratch, building it up brick by brick, taking it one practice at a time, pouring into every single athlete, and making magic happen!

In just six weeks theyโ€™ve come so far, and itโ€™s only up from here. We just have to keep doing the work!

Last night Rumors, Secrets, and Chaos practiced together and a time was had!!

TOD is such a unique place! These are just the moments that were caught on camera, so just imagine all the craziness that happens when the cameras arenโ€™t rolling. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

We laugh, we joke, we dance, we have fun, but we also know how to lock in when itโ€™s time to do so. Itโ€™s not all fun and games, but itโ€™s also not boot camp either. The goal has always been, and will always be to collect titles. However, creating memories and having an amazing experience along the way is important too!

The moment we stop having FUN with it.. weโ€™ll be done with it!

God is truly doing his big one this season, and weโ€™ve never been more thankful! ๐Ÿ–ค

You may or may not be used to catching feet from basing, and might accidentally catch the feet instead of the ankles ๐Ÿ˜… - but.. that will improve with reps!

Donโ€™t put yourself in a box, and be content with being great at one singular stunting position. Be that athlete that can say at the beginning of the season when asked - โ€œI can do ANY stunting position!! Put me wherever will make the team shine the brightest!โ€

Not only is that the biggest flex - as an athlete, but your coaches will do their happy dance! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ
