Austin Sun Devils 8U Ruiz

These boys had a great weekend in Houston! This organization continues to seek out the best competition to challenge this team and make them better and this weekend was no different. They got the opportunity to battle against one of the best teams they’ve seen yet, and the games did not disappoint! The Sun Devils and RGV Dyansty got to battle it out three times this weekend and it was simply amazing to watch. It was definitely fun to be around such talented boys on each team and watch them compete against each other!

The boys will be back at it again this weekend when they compete in the Austin State Tournament.

Austin Sun Devils 8U Ruiz crossed state lines this past weekend and played in the Louisiana Super Regional NIT. This group of kids have continued to push themselves all season and have continued to grow and develop along the way. They absolutely dominated every team Louisiana could throw at them in bracket play, but ultimately fell one run short in the championship to a great team from Mississippi. This team has a few days to regroup and will then head to Tomball this weekend to play in another stacked NIT! 🔱⚾️

It was a great weekend for the Austin Sun Devils 8UAAA - Ruiz team winning the PGBA Super Regional Central TX NIT! The boys played hard all weekend and outscored their opponents 32-7. They beat a very good Young Guns team with loads of talent in the Championship game. 🔱⚾️🏆

Ryno (AKA Spider-Man) had an amazing Saturday at the plate! He hit his first ever home run and then his next at-bat, he followed that up with his second! He was absolutely crushing the ball today!

The hot streak continued this weekend! Our boys went 5-0 against the best AAA teams in Austin and won the Rodeo Round Up AAA tourney! This team is completely dialed in right now and playing their best baseball of the season heading into the Austin NIT! 🔱⚾️🏆

These boys showed up on Sunday and played lights out to win the Luck of the Irish AAA tournament! They played amazing team baseball in the championship game with 22 hits and taking home the Ship 17-3 on their home field. 🔱⚾️🏆

Austin Sun Devils 8u - Ruiz officially started their Perfect Game Spring 22’ season going 5-0 winning the Championship game against a really good Texas Clutch 8u AAA team! The boys outscored their opponents 57-20 on their way to winning their third championship of the Spring season. 17-1 so far this season and they are playing some of the best baseball teams in the area. Next up this weekend is the WillPower Tournament, and the boys are looking forward to compete once again. Back to the grind this week.

Austin Sun Devils 8u - Ruiz completely dominated this weekend in San Antonio! They outscored their opponents 60-6 on their way to winning their second championship of the Spring 2022 season. They improved to 12-1 on the season and are playing great team baseball.

Austin Sun Devils 8u - Ruiz starting the spring season off with a One Day Tournament in San Antonio through TSBI. 4-0 on the day scoring 55 runs on 64 hits and only allowing 4 runs on 13 hits. Absolutely dominating first tournament for this group. Keep an eye on this team as they will continue to build to be one of the best in Texas this spring.
