Cub-ee’s went 1-1 today. Fought hard in the second game to come back but fell short. We’re here to play and are fighting hard to show Minneapolis that Houston came to play!

The Cub-ee’s had a great time at the end of season awards banquet!

We received our medals for placing🥈in the MSLA C Division and we also won some player awards!

Golden Glove Award: Ryan Gonzalez
Hustle Award: Travis Johnson
Most Valuable Player Award: Kyle Fagan
Silver Slugger Award: Mark (Sparky) Twyford

And a special shout-out to our coach, Nate Cassidy, none of this would have been possible without his guidance and leadership!

We are so proud of this team and are looking forward to showing out at World Series in Minneapolis in a few weeks!

We are excited to show Minneapolis what the Houston teams have to offer! Let’s get a medal!

Please join us Sunday, August 6th at 3PM at KIKI’s as they hand out the player awards for this season! This will also be our send off party for the 2023 Gay Softball World Series in Minneapolis! Come out and have some fun with us!

Cub-ee’s first season in C and we finished 9-2! We fought hard and we truly earned our World Series spot! We are especially proud of all of our team members, coaches, and fans that supported us all season. This will be our 3rd GSWS appearance in a row! We can’t wait to represent our city along with all the other qualified Houston teams. Minneapolis here we come!!!

Congratulations, to Julianna Lehmann on winning the 50/50 raffle this past Sunday! She decided to give back $500 to the teams! We are happy knowing she is now debt free, way to go!

We’re sad to hear that our softball game have been cancelled due to the rain. But there's still something to look forward to - the 2nd annual Cub-tastic Celebration is still happening from 4pm to 7pm rain or shine! Let's all come together and have some fun, even if we have to do it indoors.
