APEX American Coronado 2031

Yesterday, our Spring/Summer season came to an end with a strong showing in McAllen. This past weekend, our team closed out our 12U season as Runner-Up Champions, going 10-2 at the International World Series.

These girls played some outstanding softball all during the week and weekend long—with determination, grit, mental toughness, and a relentless competitive spirit. They showed heart in every inning, battled through challenges, and never backed down from the moment.

While competing and winning will always be part of the game, this season has been about so much more. The growth and development of these young ladies—both on and off the field—has been incredible to witness. As coaches, our goal has always been to support, guide, and challenge them to become not only better players, but better teammates and individuals.

We’ve focused on building more than just athletes—we’ve worked to instill values like integrity, accountability, resilience, and teamwork. These are the things that last far beyond any trophy or ring.

With growth comes adversity, and this group has faced it head-on. The way they’ve responded—through the highs and the lows, the tears and the laughter—speaks volumes about who they are becoming. As coaches, we are proud to stand beside them through every step, and truthfully, we’ve learned just as much from them as we hope they’ve learned from us.

To our parents—thank you for your trust, your support, and your commitment. Allowing us to be part of your daughters’ journey is something we do not take lightly, we embrace it! Again, thank you!

We’re excited for what’s ahead as we move into 14U and continue building on this foundation. The standard has been set—now it’s time to keep raising it.

Our #5, Miranda Star, had 88 strikeouts prior to entering the Colorado Sparkler and she set a goal to reach 100 for the spring season.

She delivered a dominant performance in CO, racking up an incredible 39 additional strikeouts to surpass her goal! 💪🔥

What an amazing way to finish STRONG and achieve this milestone!

What a fun and unforgettable week at the Colorado Sparkler 4th of July Tournament!
We’re proud to bring home a 3rd Place finish in the Bronze Bracket, but even more proud of the way this group of girls competed all week long. We didn’t start off the way we wanted in pool play, but the girls rallied together and fought hard Friday and Saturday to make it to Championship Sunday and the Final 4. They showed true grit, heart, and resilience - fighting for each other every inning.
This team continues to grow, battle, and represent what it means to play together. We couldn’t be more proud of these girls!
