Ah, the end of another year approaches and what can we look back on in 2024?
Its always good to have a review and consider the highs and lows of your Tri season.
I recommend you ask 3 questions of yourself at this time:
1. What did I really enjoy this year and would like to do more of in 2025?
2. What did I loathe and never want to do again!?
3. What transpired that was completely out of my control, but had a significant impact on my training or racing?
Separating your experiences into these three buckets will help you plan for the New Year.
Now enjoy the holiday break!

The King Alfred Way: A medieval diet program or self-help guide for royalty?
Nope, it’s a cycling tour of southern England, traversing the ancient roads, bye ways and tracks used over millennia from the Stone age through Roman times to Medieval and then modern Britain. It starts and ends in Wi******er, home of King Alfred and site of the famous Round Table. It’s a 330Km ...

Insightful view of the Alcatraz swim: athlete perspective:
Brick by brick, building for Alcatraz
Athlete perspective by Stuart Nelson I've approached training for triathlons as a matter of priority - a foundation for everything else I do during my day - work, family time, social time, etc. Routine exercise enhances every other part of my life, and training for events provides me with tangible g...
