Our goal is to make H-town Ice Hockey Showdown best as possible. Being said we're rescheduling for January 20, 2023. Please keep posted for more accurate dates/times.

H -town Ice Hockey Showdown getting recognition along with instagram page. Channel 13 news has it on website. Not much but bubbles are appearing.

Due to short players, we can’t proceed with Junior Chowder Cup 2022. We plan on putting our effort for summer 23’. U14 is still the aim. Thanks all who follow our page. Stay tuned throughout 2022 for more info.

Coach, Ryan Kheir Coach, Ryan Kheir born and raised in Sugar Land, TX started playing ice hockey at 9 years old. First, as a figure skater later making the transition to playing goalie. Ryan played for the Houston Wild youth hockey club playing goalie in peewees. Ryan hung up the goalie skates starting in bantams for the player skates and hasn't looked back. Ryan eventually left home at 15 years old to peruse the game at higher levels. After his last year of youth u18 eligibility Ryan earned a spot to play junior hockey with the CT jr Rangers before returning for his second year, to the newly formed NCDC tier two league. Ryan played preseason with the new club scoring one goal. Ryan was released from the club and sent to the Eastern Hockey League where he spent the remaining of his last year of junior playing for different clubs in the league.
Ryan was able to earn a spot playing NCAA D3 for Becker College. Playing his freshman and getting a cup of coffee playing "A" pro in the fphl.
Ryan thanks the game of hockey for making him a professional at a young age of 15. Most kids don't go through this in sports. He thanks all the coaches and players he was with that shaped him to be who he is today.

Coach, Ryan James born and raised in Cinco Ranch, Texas. Grew up playing for the Houston Wild, Houston Junior Aeros, and Team Houston before leaving home at 16 to pursue ice hockey at the youth AAA level. Ryan knew he had to leave Cinco Ranch to play higher level hockey, because Houston only has max AA level for the youth. Ryan played at the highest level of AAA hockey till his last year of u18 youth eligibility, earning a spot to play high level junior in the Eastern Hockey League. A true NCAA placement league, Ryan earned a commitment to play NCAA D-3 for Worcester State University. Playing three years before his fourth was cut short because of the lockdown.
Coach, Ryan James currently resides in Shrewsbury, Mass with his girlfriend Kallie & dog Charlie. Ryan graduated with a business degree which he currently uses and stays active in the Massachusetts hockey community referring. Both his parents still live in Cinco Ranch, Texas.
