Congrats to our Campus Rec March Employee of the Month Ms. Raya Ervin!

Congrats to the TSU Men & Women's Basketball Club for capturing the Spring 2024 Club Basketball League Championships.The ladies defeated Sam Houston State by a score of 33-28 to capture their 8th Spring League Championship in 12 years. Mariah Hliard was selected as MVP of the tournament.

The men capped off a perfect 9-0 season with a 53-47 victory over PVAMU. Myster Battle was named tournament MVP for the men's league.

Jamarion Owens and Avian Harris will represent TSU at the SWAC E-Sports Madden & 2K Championships on April 6th at Southern University. They will compete against the best esports gamers in the SWAC with a $1500 scholarship on the line. GOOD LUCK GUYS!

Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to a Campus REC Center lifelong member "Coach" Jesse Hurst. He was a true inspiration to the REC family with his unbridled passion for fitness and wellness. Coach rarely missed a morning work out and lit up the facility each day with his smile and sense of humor.

Coach was the definition of a true TSU TIGER and the embodiment of our motto "Fitness is a Lifestyle".

Our prayers go out to the Hurst family and friends at this time.
