🎀 A Great BIG THANK YOU!! 🎀 To All Our 2025 SGK Race for the Cure Participants & Donors!
We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Race was a HUGE SUCCESS — and it’s all thanks to YOU! From Survivors to Walkers, Non-Walkers, Donors, and Supporters — every one of you helped make the 2025 Race for the Cure one for the books!
🌟 Our Goal: $2,500
🌟 What We Raised: $4,160.73
That’s right!! We surpassed our goal thanks to the incredible generosity and energy of this amazing organization and Team Leaders ! Since we started in 2012, together, we’ve raised over $13,000 in support of breast cancer research and awareness. This is more than just a number; it's a symbol of what we can achieve when we unite in sisterhood and purpose. When we work together as ONE TEAM, driven by ONE HEART, we accomplish TRUE MILESTONES.
We are so proud of what we’ve achieved through the years. We look forward to lacing up our shoes and joining forces once again in 2028 for another powerful, inspiring Race for the Cure.

TBT…… ♥️💙The 1978 iconic poster of The Houston Oilers Cheerleaders known as the Derrick Dolls. Pictured sitting from left to right is Elaine Pelino, standing center is Dana Murphy, sitting on the right is the late Cheryl Hines. Standing from left to right is Alice Borski and Deborah Spinks. The Houston Oilers were founded in 1960 and introduced the Derrick Dolls in 1978. Five beautiful women were selected, photographed and featured in the first ever poster by the late Ron Scott in an actual oil refinery with lights and burn off flames illuminating in the background at dusk on one hot and humid Texas evening. 50,000 posters were handed out to fans at a home game in the Astrodome and sold all across the city of Houston. Luv Ya Blue!♥️💙
