Exciting times ahead for Cricket Australia Masters!

We’re proud to share that CAM is making some big, positive changes across our social media and website as we continue building one united national organisation for Masters Cricket in Australia.

Our goal is to create a central home for everything Masters Cricket:

Up‑to‑date news and announcements

What’s happening across all age groups and states

Photos, stories and highlights from our men’s and women’s programs

Easy access to information, contacts and support

A place to celebrate why we all love Masters Cricket so much

As we grow, we also want to ensure everyone is aware of the partnerships that support Masters Cricket nationally. These partners play a vital role in helping CAM deliver opportunities for players 40+, and in turn, we encourage our community to support the organisations that support us.

This is cricket for life, and CAM is committed to growing Masters Cricket for men and women 40+ right across the country.

We’d love to hear from you — drop a comment below and tell us what you’d like to see added to our social pages or our website. More videos? Player stories? Match graphics? Behind‑the‑scenes content? Let us know.

Together, we’re building something special.
One national organisation. One Masters community. One CAM.

🏏 HUGE NEWS FOR MASTERS CRICKET!
Cricket Australia Masters is thrilled to announce the inaugural Over‑65s Trans‑Tasman Cup Series — Australia vs New Zealand, kicking off October 2027!

This historic new series was confirmed today by CAM Over 60/65s Chairman Claude Orlando, with Veterans Cricket New Zealand enthusiastically embracing the concept from the moment it was proposed.

🇦🇺 Australia vs New Zealand
🏆 Trans‑Tasman Cup Series (TTCup)
📅 Starting October 2027
📍 Inaugural host: Tamworth, NSW

Tamworth Masters Cricket will host the first TTCup following their outstanding success delivering the Australia vs Sri Lanka Over‑65s International Series in March 2026 — the first Over‑65s international series ever held worldwide.

The momentum in Over‑65s international cricket is exploding:
🌏 A major quad series was held on the Sunshine Coast in June 2026
🌏 An 8‑team international tournament is locked in for Colombo, Sri Lanka in March 2027
🌏 And now, the Trans‑Tasman Cup joins the calendar as another milestone for this rapidly growing age group

CAM International Cricket Development Officer Craig Cox says the pace of growth has been “phenomenal” — and Australia will be sending a team to every major event.

📣 Player nominations for all tournaments and series will open soon.
Stay tuned — CAM will release further details as they come to hand.

And now in 2026, they’ve taken another massive step forward.

This year, NT will proudly field two full Over 50s divisions at the Nationals in Perth, 21–27 November.

Their growth, commitment, and passion for Masters cricket is incredible to see — and CAM is thrilled to have the Territory represented so strongly on the national stage.

From 15–20 November 2026, Launceston, Tasmania will host the Women’s Masters Nationals, bringing together talented, passionate and fiercely competitive women from across the country.

They continue to elevate the game, inspire future Masters players, and show exactly why women’s Masters cricket is such an important and growing part of our community.
