For our May class, we made carrot cake and the cutest bunny crafts.

Registration for summer camps is now OPEN! Camp Cupcake (ages 4-6) and Samson Cooking School for Kids (ages 7 to 12) returns for another wonderful summer of kitchen fun!

November's Cooking & Craft for Kids was so much fun! We made blackberry jam and pumpkin scones with maple frosting. We also started a leaf and twig mini lantern project.

Next class is December 10 when we make gingerbread cookies and jelly donuts! We'll also have a candle art project. Only four spaces per class so reserve your spot NOW!

Harvest season at Samson Cooking & Craft School for Kids means making from-scratch blackberry jam and pumpkin scones with maple frosting! Kids 7 to 12 will also make a leaf and twig lamp. The June 2024 Camp Cupcake is a hit! So far we've made rainbow cupcakes with tie dye frosting, apple crisp, and fudge cupcakes with buttercream frosting. We decorated the fudge cupcakes with candy to make "monster" cupcakes.

We've also been playing a clapping game that focuses on cross-lateral movement, so important for the development of the brain. In addition, we've been playing a different clapping game that is actually a skip counting game (the 3s). Finally, we've been playing the egg & spoon game which develops hand/eye coordination and balance. Shush! Don't tell the kids. They think we're just having fun.

Looking for a summer activity for you 7-11 year olds? We have just ONE spot left in our Samson Cooking for Kids the week of July 15 and TWO spots left in our camp the week of June 17.

Camps run from 10 a.m. to noon, with free early drop-off of 9:30 a.m. Campers learn basic tools and techniques of the kitchen, and go home with a custom recipe book and a custom apron.

This camp meets in the Heights Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to noon, with a free early drop off at 9:30 a.m. Campers learn basic baking techniques and tools, and go home with recipe box, recipes, and a custom apron.

I was too busy yesterday to take a photo of recital dancers but today I am blessed! Thank you everyone who helped make the show a success! I love all of my dancers and their families!

New this summer but based on our Samson Academy cooking program is our Samson Cooking School for Kids summer program. Kids ages 7-11 will be making from-scratch pasta, chicken 'n gravy, scones, cheesecake and more! We'll also be learning about kitchen hygiene as well as the rules and tools of cooking. Each student goes home with a custom Samson Cooking School for Kids apron and cookbook.

There is just one session in June and one in July and each session is limited for 4 students, so register NOW!

Returning this summer is our much loved Camp Cupcake for 4-6 year olds! This one week, two-hour daily session includes daily baking and art projects.
