Imagine an airplane going from cruising altitude to the runway without a descent.
Yet that's sometimes what we ask our brains to do at bedtime.
Work.
Email.
News.
Social media.
Tomorrow's problems.
TV.
Then...

Instead, experiment with creating a โlanding stripโโa short transition between your active day and bedtime.
Lower the lights. Put work away. Take a shower. Read. Listen to music. Try a few minutes of slow breathing. Write tomorrow's to-do list down so your brain doesn't have to keep holding onto it.
It doesn't have to be elaborate.
