I’ll admit, even as a coach and mentor, I lose sight of these things sometimes. But I’m grateful that working with my kids constantly brings me back to these fundamentals. I see it in them every day — their resilience, their joy, their willingness to try again — and it’s a quick reminder of what matters most.

🎉 Today was a special day! I had my first speaking engagement 🗣️ with Mindful Transformation, and it truly filled my heart.

I had the pleasure of speaking to students who are about to graduate with their master’s degrees in mental health. 💚 I shared my story — how gymnastics changed my life, gave me discipline, purpose, and a way to pour back into kids who need that extra bit of love and structure.

Grateful for the opportunity to inspire future mental health professionals and to remind them (and myself!) how powerful it is when we see beyond the surface and support each person’s unique journey.

🗣️ Parents, how do you know when it’s time to ask why your child hasn’t moved up a level in gymnastics?

Yesterday, I had a surprise one-on-one session with a gymnast — just me and her. And what happened? I saw immediately that she was capable of more.

After class, I told her mom that I was going to push her a little harder because I saw that she’s ready for Level 2. Her mom said, “Good, because it’s been almost a year, and I’ve been wondering when she would progress.”

💡 As a coach, this is what we look for — moments to evaluate, challenge, and advance your child when they’re ready.
