So sad to hear Kedryn “Peter Rabbit” Wright has passed away.

I’ve never met a funnier person. He kept the mood light at all times and could do dozens of impressions. Hate that we hadn’t spoken in years…

He gave his life to Christ in Little Rock, Arkansas during one of our tournament weeks. I pray I get to talk to him again one day.

A good player despite being 5-7 150, he caught the last out of one of our biggest summer league wins in Dallas. I always remember him freaking out over that.

He was loved by many and will be missed by people from all walks of life, I’m sure.

Jarred Scott returns to his 2nd RBI SW regional tournament with MS RBI. A Meridian CC signee, Scott has worked hard to improve his game and he will definitely have an impact as a freshman.

Scott won a $20,000 college scholarship from Major League Baseball's national RBI office. He leads by example and continues a long line of Meridian HS players in MS RBI.

The third of 15 players on the RBI Regional Tournament team is also the youngest. Yazoo County HS sophomore Talyn Shaffer can play anywhere on the diamond.

A great defensive player, the 6-foot 205 lb Shaffer, has two YC teammates on the squad. More on them later.
