🥂 🎉 Grateful to all the donors for helping us reach our goal for the Book Mission during the Virtual Book Bash! We were able to raise nearly $3,000 to fund books to be donated to organizations that support marginalized groups.

🤗 I am always pleased to see how the conversation around is constantly evolving over time. And with all the chatter around it, 3 things are for sure:

1️⃣ The feeling is real. But the fact is, you are not an imposter.

2️⃣ The feeling is not your fault.

3️⃣ Systems of are primary triggers of this phenomenon.

📖 In chapter 4 of my forthcoming book, I call out the significant role racism, sexism, and all the other oppressive setups play in perpetuating .

🤗 Recognizing that you are not to blame for this feeling can be liberating in and of itself.

💪🏾 But to offer additional empowerment, I also provide tips on how you can reclaim your personal power in spaces that seek to you.

🙋🏾 I will always acknowledge the pervasive role systems of play in the experiences people have with feelings of unbelonging and self-doubt. Those holding power and influence in a space are responsible for dismantling abusive and toxic structures that impose harmful messages which often spark imposter feelings.

But what can you do when the negative and self-limiting narratives get absorbed into your psyche? What steps can you take to begin the process of addressing for yourself? Here are a few:

1. Spend time in solitude to unpack and unlearn self-limiting beliefs.
2. Learn about who you are and value yourself.
3. Affirm yourself with evidence of your past achievements.
