This weekend two of our Alliance Woodlands fencers competed at the Dragon Heart Club Competition, both taking gold in their events. Milana Sconzo took gold in Y10 Women’s Epee and Gavin Fenske took gold in Y12 Men’s Epee! Congratulations fencers!

We had the honor of hosting the Kazakhstan senior men’s epee team this week as they prepared for the upcoming Medellin FIE Grand Prix in Colombia. Our Alliance fencers had the opportunity to fence some of the world’s best epeeists — Kazakhstan is ranked 6th in the world in teams, Ruslan Kurbanov ranked 4th in the world — and learn from the best. 🇰🇿

We also had the privilege of hosting other world class fencers making their way to Colombia this weekend, including Alexandra Ehler 🇩🇪 , and of course our very own Anna van Brummen 🇺🇸, Sam Imrek 🇺🇸, and Will East 🇬🇧
