A DEEPER CASE FOR FATHERHOOD (AND MOTHERHOOD)
There are a couple of reasons why the Hebrew language is considered divine.
One of them is the very deep symbolism.
It has many clues and hints to a deeper understanding of a passage.
The Gematria for instance is used to calculate the numerical value of words, because in the Hebrew each letter is also a number.
So every word bears a numerical value.
The Hebrew word for child "Yalad" is spelt with a Yod, which is also the number 10, a Lamed, which is the number 30, and a Daleth, which is the number 4. If you add these numbers together (10+30+4), the numerical value for the word "child" is 44.
And when 2 different words combined produce the numerical value of another word it is indicative of a relationship.
So, the word "av" which is "father" in Hebrew is spelt with an Aleph, which is the number 1, and a Beth, which is the number 2. Adding them gives a "3."
The word "im" is for "mother" and is spelt with an Aleph which is the number 1, and a Mem, which is the number 40.
Adding them together will give 41.
Now, the summation of the numerical values for "av" and for "im" would be 44. Same number for "Yalad."
So, a father plus a mother is equal to a child.
