The University of Houston's Rugby Team The University of Houston Rugby Club has been in existence for about 40 years.

This year we became part of the collegiate league in the Texas Rugby Union. Because we are not a NCAA sanctioned sport (YET!), our team of ruggers must find and generate most of our own funding. Being a part of the University of Houston we are an extremely diverse team, and even have a few players from across the globe. Phenomenal time in Huntsville experiencing quality rugby. Boys walked away from this weekend with valuable playoff experience and a fire in their eyes ready to go back next year. For now, though, we focus on prepping for our next 15’s tournament at Texas state (3/1) and our game against Nichols University at stadium on 3/12.

UH Rugby official Spring Schedule is underway! We are excited to announce a multitude of tournaments and games in the upcoming months starting off with the Lone Star Conference Playoffs that will be held at Sam Houston State this upcoming Saturday 2/22! We hope to see you there!
