Thank you God for another successful Dancecation with our D2D family. It’s the beginning of our Sweet 16 season and I’m looking back on all that we have accomplished. To God be the Glory for the doors he has opened , exposure opportunities we have been afforded, and safety through all of our adventures and travel.

Some studios invest in competitions, D2D invests in not only dance education and development in our students but we take them around the world to experience many cultures and share their talents.

For our 16th season we have been blessed with the opportunity to take 25 of our dancers to perform in Tokyo & Osaka Japan for a 7 day Tour in July 2026.

Dancer of the Month: Savion Glover

This month, we’re thrilled to honor the legendary Savion Glover, a true icon of tap dance! Known for his groundbreaking style, powerful rhythms, and remarkable precision, Savion is much more than a performer—he's also a choreographer, actor, and teacher. His passion for tap has inspired generations of dancers. From his early work on Broadway in Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in 'da Funk to his innovative contributions to modern tap, Savion has taken the art form to new heights.

Fun fact: Today, November 19, marks his birthday! Let’s celebrate the legacy of this tap master and keep his spirit of rhythm and creativity alive on the dance floor!
