Just wanted to share a quick thought on how I handle things here. You’ve probably noticed I’m not big on using social media as an ad reel. Honestly, I don’t always post the big hits, the daily reps, or even every college commitment over the years. Between being a full-time dad, a partner, a son, a friend, and focusing on being the best coach I can be, my priority isn’t posting online. I’m not here to chase “likes” or fill my schedule with clever marketing—I’m here to develop players.
Softball is exploding right now, and new coaches are popping up everywhere. It’s great for the game, but if you’re looking for a hitting coach, I’d suggest looking past the flashy content and checking two things:
* The Track Record: Have they actually developed players over time, or are they just posting natural talent?
* The Connection: Your kid has to want to work for that coach. Without mutual respect and a solid culture, they’ll never reach their full potential.
Why Mechanics Matter
I see a lot of “bad” content online where kids are relying purely on natural strength. That works for a while, but eventually, the game gets too fast. When that happens, solid mechanics are the only thing that keeps a player in the game. That’s where my focus stays.
Bottom line: This isn’t shade toward anyone—even the kids who have moved on to other coaches, I’m still rooting for you. I’m just staying in my lane, focusing on growth, and keeping the main thing the main thing. And you will see a few post over the next few days, because I feel like posting this week. But then you may not see anymore for a few weeks.
Back to work. ✌️

We’re making some exciting upgrades at the facility, and we need your help!
To provide our athletes with a better overall experience, we’re replacing all of our old netting. To keep the cost of our hourly services the same, we’re selling t-shirts to help fund the project. All of the profits will go directly toward purchasing new netting.
You can pre-order one of three different t-shirt designs: the “Houston Made” shirt, a breast cancer awareness shirt, or our original design. We’ll post all of the designs soon.
To place a pre-order, you can call or text me at 713-391-9816 or send us a direct message here. We’ll also have shirts available for purchase at the facility.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We can’t wait for you to see the new netting!

I was happy to see Alexcia back in the cages today after a pretty tough injury. She’s on the mend and I’m excited she’s able to slowly start working out again.

It’s been a busy summer at the cages and we are just getting busier. I love seeing these kids work hard every week and getting rewarded on the ball field. Gigi Castro (Texas Bombers) has really grown over the last year and we are excited to see how she finishes this summer season! Keep working hard kid.
Summer availability is now open on the booking site. Penelope is also offering lessons throughout the summer. Please contact us for her information if you are interested in scheduling a lesson. Thank you! 🙏

What’s the one thing you always take a picture of on vacation when you come across it? Mine is a baseball/softball field.
