Conquista Muay Thai - Amateur is also making waves across the Lone Star State with the announcement of its 1st Annual Youth Amateur Muay Thai Tournament to be held in August on the Temple grounds of Watpa Buddhayan!

Conquista Muay Thai reannounces their Official Weigh-Ins for Conquista Muay Thai I to be held at Space Monkey Arcade located at 1204 Canton Road in Edinburg, Texas on Friday, June 5th at 2:00pm. Admission is FREE during the duration of the weigh-in and is open to the public.

Tickets for their Inaugural Event start at $50 for General Seating, $75 for Reserved Seating, $100 for Ringside Seating, $125 for VIP Seating and can ONLY be purchased at citruslive.com or in person at The Citrus Live Box Office during their regular business hours.

host its Competitive Amateur Youth and Adult Muay Thai events on temple grounds.

For the first time ever, Professional Full Rules Muay Thai makes its presence in the Rio Grande Valley with fighters from across the Lone Star State and México competing for our Championship Title Belts and the opportunity to fight in Thailand in 2027!

We put some thought into this and chose The Citrus Live as the perfect venue to put our talent on the stage and create an immersive, up close, Boxing Stadium experience that fight fans won't forget.

With two months to go, the fight card for Conquista Muay Thai's Inaugural Event scheduled for Saturday June 6th at The Citrus Live in Edinburg, Texas is now in the hands of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) for approval!

Conquista Muay Thai 2 is scheduled to take place at The Citrus Live in Edinburg, Texas on Saturday, July 18th, 2026 (pending TDLR approval). Matchmaking will begin on Monday, April 13th.

Fighters interested on getting on their growing roster of athletes and fight card are encouraged to contact them via email at [email protected].

All arhletes must meet the following requirements:
1. Have Amateur or verifiable Professional Muay Thai fight experience;
2. Be able to communicate in English & Spanish, as needed.
3. Be able to perform their fight camp's Wai Kru/Ram Muay. (No stealing Wai Kru/Ram Muay from another camp, or making one up with non-traditional/offensive movments); and
4. Satisfy all Texas Department for Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) criteria (Medicals, etc.) for registration as a licensed professional Combative sports competitor;

For faster responses, interested fighters are encouraged to send their fight resume and a recent (head and shoulders) photograph with the following information:

1. Full Legal Name (and Fight Name/Nickname, if applicable)
2. Current Address, City, State, Country, Zip Code
3. Birthdate/Current Age/Height/Weight
4. Contact Information (Phone & Email)
5. Gym Name, Instructor, and Contact Information (With complete gym address, Phone. Email, Website)
6. Amateur and Professional Muay Thai Fight Record (Wins/Losses/Draws and Weightclass(es) NOTE: "Smokers" or unsanctioned fights are not considered as valid competition.
7. Video and/or web links to video footage of your bouts.

Athletes who meet qualifications will be contacted by phone or email for a brief in-person or video interview.
