A HUGE congratulations to 3C National Travel Team member MADY POWELL on being named the 17U MVP at the AVP All-American Invitational! ✨🏆✨
Mady punched her ticket to the Invitational after qualifying at the AVP Texas Regionals back in March. 💪
From there, she joined her fellow AVP All-Americans in Manhattan Beach, where they battled it out in a Queen-of-the-Beach format against some of the BEST junior beach volleyball athletes in the country — all during THE MBO! 🇺🇸🌊💥
What an incredible accomplishment on one of beach volleyball’s biggest stages! 👏

What is it like to compete internationally???

Our 3C athlete, Zoe Foss, flew straight from the BVCA’s in Hermosa Beach, CA to Norway for international playing experience. 🇳🇴

First Zoe and her partner, Oda, competed in two Women’s Open tournaments on the Norway tour. She flew to the artic circle to play the Bødo Open finishing 3rd while battling the cold and wind with sudden bursts of rain.
Then Zoe and her partner spent the week training together twice a day in Oslo, Norway before heading down south to the Kristiansand Open. It was unseasonably cold and once again they battled strong wind, rain and chilly temperatures. They finished 5th (losing to two Norwegian legends and former olympians)!

Finally, Zoe headed to Stavanger to play in the Norwegian Junior National championships in U19 finishing 9th out of 32 teams!

What an incredible experience and an unforgettable summer! Thanks Zoe Foss for sharing this experience with us!
