Where we get to complain about having to workout but we get to do it TOGETHER & instead of complaining, it’ll be nohting but us repeating positive affirmations like:

“If you did 30s, you can do 10 more”
“Yes, you ARE this strong.”
“Only way to get through it, is to get through it” & then I proceed to count super super fast! 😂

If you missed last class...

Have no fear, I’m here to tell you that it’s ok, bb. I got chuuu. You have a chance to get it on all this action this Wednesday 2/11 @ 7PM.
All thats requiered:
-1 set of DB you can push/press for 12-15 reps
-1 mat so ya don’t get all gross
I got the rest.

🌱When inspiration strikes, ride the wave🌱

I say this all the time- you don’t NEED a gym (or maybe you do for the motivation and that’s aok!), but you do need some will power cause movement can happen with minimal equipment 🥳

Equipment-
1 heaver set of DB- 25’s
1 moderate set of DB- 15/20’s
1 light set of DB- 12’s

✨@ Home Full Body Workout✨

A1- Goblet Squats w/2s hold @ the bottom
3x10 reps (it may feel like you can’t, but you can)

B1- Deficit Reverse Reverse Lunges
3x8 reps per side (I would opt for a cork yoga block, a riser or a bumper plate for added stability)

C1- Banded DB RDL’s
3x-10-12 reps (Add the band to create tension throughout the movement. Useful when you can usually lift heavier but have lighter weights)
C2- Hamstring Curl w/Foam Roller-
2x4-5 walk outs (Alternative to the Leg Curl Machine. This is a bit of an advanced movement so I would suggest settling into the set up by pressing your feet into the foam roller and practice hip extension, lifting your glutes/engaging your hamstrings, for 10-15s holds)

D1- Pause Push Ups
2x6-8 reps (These can be done on the knees to save form)
D2- Z Press
2x12 reps (Not pictured- Shoulder pressing while sitting L shaped, legs wide. Engages shoulders, core and as well as some lower back)

I know it’s a lot or it can feel like a lot, but just imagine if you get curious now. Future you will thank you. 🌱

Hey… hey you scrolling and seeing this post…

I know it’s cold and I know you’d rather be on the couch or in bed, but sometimes we have to choose the need over a want & I’m here to tell you that you probably need to bring ya ass to class this Wednesday @ 7pm

You’ll be nice and warm after a workout on top OF getting to have a delicious brew with NA options available!

$15 includes a guided full body workout + a post mile run (optional but I’m doing it so you should probably bring your running shoes) + post 🍺(s) 👀

You just need 1 set of DB’s + a mat and I’ve got the rest covered.

Just a lil snippets of today’s workout.

Days like today, I’m thankful I’ve stuck with it. Sure I’ve got some aches and some pains (that I’m vehemently working on) but I’d rather experience this than pain from a sedentary life.

Side note- The world is chaotic and loud and I know for myself, self care at times can feel selfish. Like- “LOOK AT WHAT THE ATROCITIES OF THE WORLD”
But I also know that movement brings me back to center, calms the noise so I CAN think about the world at a slower pace and with less anxiety. Even saying that feels selfish but it’s what I can offer myself and offer the community around me.

Anyway, do the things that calms the noise so you don’t get lost in it. Whether that’s movement or journaling or a therapy session. You can’t fix it all but you can create change within your reach. 🌱
