EnU nation! Join me in congratulating Zach Weik in completing his first Ironman (IMTX) yesterday! He had a great race ex*****on and finished with a really strong and impressive run. Special thanks and congrats to his coach Jean Gillis! We’ll upload a victory photo of Zach once he is rested enough to pick up his phone again. But Coach Rod was on course and really worked hard to cheer Zach on. Zach, revel in the glory and celebrate to the fullest! YOU ARE AN IRONMAN!

Big weekend for EnU!

Christine Edmonds ran a 10 miler simply because it was in her back yard. Rod and I had the pleasure of randomly running into her while we were on a bike tour of the Golden Gate Bridge during her shake out run. She was looking very sharp! And come to find out, she was. Because she not only PR’d the 10 miler, but also the 10k in the process!

And Lisa Gorman is BACK! After a multi year setback from a car accident followed by a bike crash/concussion, she’s been patiently waiting to feel like herself again. She’s back at the “more miles more smiles” on the trails that she loves so much. She did the “Don’t Run Boston” 50k on Sunday, which based on her race pics, we suspect it was really just an Oreo cookie scavenger hunt. And in Lisa form, she got lost and ran a few extra and was rather joyous about it.

Robbie Cook keeps on being the wonder boy and gets faster and faster. He ran the Newport Marathon this weekend and threw in a 30 second PR!

And finally, did you know it was the Boston Marathon yesterday?! Julie Kosciak ran her first marathon in years, and her first Boston, for the charity Running for Rare. On a day with every New England weather pattern thrown at her, she finished strong, and as Boston has a way of doing, made so many memories in just a few short hours.

Congrats to our many talented and dedicated friends! You make us proud and inspire everyday!

As if competing in the Annual Tribe Multisport Bartlett Lake sprint in AZ isn't hard enough, Christine Edmonds (now of CO) set a course record AND won the women's division overall! Sporting her team USA kit thanks to her hard work at Worlds in the Netherlands last year. Let's send her a congrats and cheers to a great recovery week! Well done, Christine!

In 2 photos Robbie went from “err...this isn’t going to end well” to “but I still look bad ass in my matching blue shorts and sunglasses”. Hey Robbie, you still gunna go to hockey tonight?
