Great start to the first week of the Spring Semester ⛳️

This week we focused on Level 1 Putting: Aim. Roll. Stop. Building a strong foundation starts on the green, and these athletes showed great focus, effort, and willingness to learn.

Excited to keep developing skills, confidence, and a love for the game. Looking forward to building on this week 👏

Wrapping up another great semester at Cypress Golf Academy. This group put in the work week after week, and it’s been awesome to see their consistency, growth, and confidence build. Testing week was the perfect way to finish — giving them the chance to apply what they’ve learned, trust their process, and see their progress in action. Proud of the effort they brought every single day.

WHAT A SHOW! We took the leadership team to Orlando and celebrated Coach Cayti who was honored with the Top 50 Coach Award for Operation 36. She’s the youngest coach to be honored with that title in their history. She definitely made the most of the show! Keep an eye out because I see lots of amazing things happening in her future ⛳️🙌🏻

Our amazing coaching team is hard at work planning the schedule for next year, and we couldn’t be more excited! After an incredible 2024, we know there’s always room to grow, improve, and create even better experiences for our students and their families.

Our mission remains the same: to grow the game of golf, inspire the next generation of golfers, and help families fall in love with this incredible sport. From beginners to advanced players, we’re dedicated to making golf accessible, fun, and impactful for everyone who joins our academy.

Our Fall Programs are off and running! The Ladies Practice Plus program kicked off with its largest group to date: 22 ladies!

We just hosted our first Fun Fall Family Event for the Academy and had a full 9 hole field with 18 families!

Next up is our Annual Awards Banquet, a formal event, with some exciting guest speakers: The Director of Junior golf for the STPGA, and a father and son who started in our Academy as a beginner and now is playing College D1 in a scholarship!

We just concluded our coaches meeting to gear up and prepare for the Fall Semester of the Junior Golf Academy at Sterling Country Club at Houston National!

I feel really good about our team going into the Fall! We talked about goals for the Academy and also set some goals that we want to see our students accomplish this semester.

We always try to introduce new games and challenges to keep the classes fresh and fun, so I had each coach come up with a new challenge and present it to the group. We all voted on the best idea and the winner will be getting a bonus on their next check ⛳️ 🏆

This is shaping up to be our best semester yet! I’m looking forward to kicking off our Fall Semester next week. ⛳️ 🍁
