TO TAKE OR NOT TO TAKE…
If One Vitamin Is Good, Then Two Must Be Better… Right? 🤔
Not so fast!
Sometimes we treat supplements like potato chips:
💊 “One Vitamin D is good…”
💊 “Let me add Vitamin C…”
💊 “Maybe some Magnesium…”
💊 “My neighbor said Turmeric works…”
💊 “Facebook said I need Sea Moss…”
💊 “TikTok says I should take 17 more things…”
Before you know it, breakfast requires a pill organizer the size of a carry-on suitcase!
Here’s the truth:
More is NOT always better.
Some supplements can:
⚠ Interact with medications
⚠ Affect blood pressure or blood sugar
⚠ Increase bleeding risk
⚠ Duplicate ingredients you’re already taking
⚠ Cost you money without adding value
Remember:
Just because it’s natural…
Just because it’s organic…
Just because your cousin takes it…
Just because it’s trending on social media…
Doesn’t mean YOUR body needs it.
💡 Knowledge is Power.
Before adding another supplement to your daily routine, ask:
✔ Why am I taking this?
✔ Do I actually need it?
✔ Has my healthcare provider reviewed it?

Are You Taking Supplements… But Not Really Sure Why?
After age 50, many of us begin taking vitamins and supplements to support our bones, heart, energy, immune system, and overall health. But have you ever stopped to ask:
✔️ Do I really need this supplement?
✔️ Is it working for me?
✔️ Could it interact with my medications?
✔️ Am I taking the right form?
One of the most overlooked conversations in healthy aging is the relationship between Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 and the important role they may play in supporting bone health, heart health, and overall wellness.
As a Registered Nurse and Certified Personal Trainer, I believe that informed decisions lead to healthier outcomes. Supplements should support your wellness journey—not replace healthy habits like proper nutrition, exercise, hydration, and adequate sleep.
