Kingwood Mustang Football is proud to name Coach Morgan Stringer our Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator.

Now in his fourth year Protecting The K and his 10th year coaching, Coach Stringer brings a proven track record on the offensive side of the ball. He has served as an Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach for five seasons, developing signal-callers and building offenses that put points on the board.

Before arriving at Kingwood, he was an assistant at Highland Park, where the program went 56-5 over four seasons and captured three state championships. That’s the standard he brings to our offense every single day.

A proud Baylor University graduate, Coach Stringer knows what winning looks like and he’s built to help us to the North Star.

Proven pedigree. Proven results. The K is in good hands.

🏈 STAFF ANNOUNCEMENT 🏈

Kingwood Mustang Football is proud to name Coach Wishom our Defensive Coordinator.

Now in his third year on the K and his 17th year coaching, Coach Wishom has already left his mark. As Co-Defensive Coordinator, he helped guide the Mustangs to the quarterfinals for the first time in 34 years, anchoring a secondary that finished atop the 23-6A district in both interceptions and pass breakups two seasons running, and coaching Johnny Ankutse to First Team All-District honors.

Before the sideline, he lived it: a standout DB at Louisiana Tech, a 2005 NFL Combine invitee, and a nine-year pro across the NFL (Green Bay, San Francisco, Minnesota), NFL Europe, the CFL, and the AFL. Everywhere he’s coached, his players have earned All-District recognition and college scholarships.

Proven standards. Proven results. The K is in good hands.
