Bayern head to Berlin for the DFB-Pokal Final with a chance to secure the domestic double and to put the finishing touch on a dominant season.

This is the last Bayern match before summer, before many of these players head off to represent their countries at the World Cup. One more time together before the break.

Finals are different. Big stage, big pressure, and one last opportunity to lift another trophy this season.

Dear FCBTX,

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I share this news. Yesterday, we lost one of the most beautiful souls in our community, Hannah. 😔

Hannah became part of the FCBTX family shortly after COVID and quickly became one of the familiar faces of the “every game crew” in the FCBTX-Houston Chapter. Her bright spirit, infectious smile, and the purses she somehow perfectly matched to every occasion, brought warmth and personality to every watch party she attended.

Through the fan club, Hannah met Andrew. What started as a chance connection grew into a beautiful love story... one that even caught the attention of FC Bayern München and was featured in the famous Magazine 51. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and their beloved little fur baby, Peanut, who became just as much a part of our matchday family as they were.

Over the last year, Hannah, Andrew, and her family fought her cancer diagnosis with incredible strength and courage.

Yesterday morning, I received the heartbreaking call from Hannah’s mother that Hannah had passed away. 😔

Hannah was fiercely loyal, endlessly kind, funny, intelligent, and full of life. She loved Bayern. She loved Andrew. And she truly loved living. She made people feel welcome, valued, and happy to be around her, never judging anyone, and that is a rare gift.

She will be so, very, deeply missed, but never forgotten. We will find ways to honor Hannah and keep her spirit woven into this community she helped make special. More to come on that soon.

For now, hold your loved ones a little closer tonight.

We love and will always miss you, Hannah.
