October Newsletter from Yogaleena
A few weeks ago, my childhood bestie who still lives in Chile texted me to share that she’d be spending a few days in Orlando with her family in September. The last time I saw her was at least 3 years ago, and considering we both have little kids, there is still a pandemic going on, and that we ha...

July Newsletter from Yogaleena!
Hi friends, welcome to July! The boys and I recently returned from a lovely 2 weeks visiting my parents and sisters in Philadelphia. As always, saying goodbye was bittersweet - I hate not being a short car drive away from any of them, but I really, really love sleeping in my own bed! In any case...

Mid-Month Musings & a Short Flowy Practice!

March Newsletter from Yogaleena is out today:)
March Newsletter from Yogaleena!
Hi friends, welcome to March. Spring is right around the corner, but it seems that my backyard missed the memo. Everywhere I look, I see ugly brown grass, wilted succulents, dry Birds of Paradise, and bloom-less Bougainvillea.

Life, and it’s inherent challenges, can seem really daunting if we feel like we’re on this journey all alone. Surrounding yourself with an intimate community of like-hearted and open-minded people who are navigating the same choppy waters can be so nurturing and healing. Yoga teaches us that although our paths are unique, they are not separate.
Our Yogaleena School offerings are all about creating a safe space for students to feel like they belong, like they don’t have to do this thing called life all alone. We teach you the tools and philosophies that can change your perspective, and offer you the opportunity to build connections that nourish you along the way.
Our 200-hour Teacher Training and Immersion & Mentorship programa kick off January 2021. Join us 💕

I’m thrilled to be leading a virtual flow next Saturday, 9:30am to support MetaVivor, an outstanding organization dedicated to eradicating metastatic disease.
This opportunity was brought to me by one of my students, who along with her sister, organize a wellness event every year in memory of their young cousin who lost her battle with breast cancer.
This cause is close and dear to my heart as my own beautiful cousin was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Since our studio is close to the Houston Med center, I’ve also had the privilege of working with so many strong women fighting this disease and their incredible families supporting them every step of the way.
Let’s come together, in (virtual) body and heart, to end this life-threatening disease.
Please register through the Eventbrite link listed on our website.
Tickets are only $15 - see you on the mat!
