We’re excited to announce the promotion of Taylor Potts to Senior Vice President of Operations at B&L Pipeco Services.

With 15 years of oilfield experience and 12 years at B&L Pipeco, Taylor has been instrumental in strengthening operations, driving efficiencies, and supporting our continued growth. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations in Houston, following a successful career in OCTG sales as our Western Regional Sales Manager in Midland, Texas.

A Texas Tech University alumnus, Taylor earned his bachelor’s degree in business while serving as QB1 for the Red Raiders, and later completed his MBA at the Rawls College of Business.

Please join us in congratulating Taylor on this well-deserved promotion. We look forward to his continued leadership and impact at B&L Pipeco Services.

Annual Team Outing: B&L Pipeco Services Hits the Ballpark!

Every year, a group from our Houston and Pampa offices comes together for our annual tradition of cheering on the Amarillo SodPoodles, and this year did not disappoint! The day was filled with laughter, connections, and plenty of teamwork both on and off the field.

It’s traditions like these that strengthen our culture and remind us why collaboration and camaraderie are at the heart of B&L Pipeco Services.

B&L Pipeco Services was proud to serve as the Trophy Sponsor for the 2025 Shootout Hunger Sporting Clays Tournament, held this past month.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of participants, sponsors, and volunteers, this year’s event raised enough funds to provide more than 670,000 meals for families, children, and seniors facing hunger across Montgomery County.

We’re honored to support this impactful cause and stand alongside a community that continues to show what’s possible when we come together to fight hunger.

Striking Success: Celebrating Our Inventory & Operations Team

We took a break from the office to celebrate and show appreciation for our incredible Inventory and Operations team with a well-deserved bowling outing.

This group plays a vital role in keeping our business running smoothly by coordinating materials, managing systems, and supporting our customers with precision and dedication every day.

We’re proud of their hard work, attention to detail, and strong collaboration. Events like this are just one of the ways we say thank you to the people who power B&L Pipeco Services.

Members of our BLPS Houston team recently participated in an eight-day OCTG training hosted by Ascend SC. Matthew Scott, Ishaan Ajmeri, Elizabeth Garcia, and Josh Yanity represented B&L Pipeco Services, gaining a deep understanding of the drilling life cycle and connecting with industry peers.

The program included visits to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig & Museum, and tours of Borusan Pipe USA, K&B Threading, Tuboscope South, and VAM Hardy, providing firsthand insight into OCTG manufacturing and threading operations.

We’re proud of our team for their commitment to growth and for bringing back knowledge that strengthens B&L Pipeco’s expertise and service. Thank you to Ascend SC for hosting such an engaging and informative program.

Making OCTG History with Net Zero CO₂

We’re proud to celebrate a milestone with our valued mill partner, Tubos Reunidos Group.

Together, we’ve completed the first-ever order of OCTG material produced and delivered to the United States with Net Zero CO₂ emissions. B&L Pipeco Services is honored to be the first OCTG distributor to purchase and receive this groundbreaking product.

This collaboration marks an important step forward for our industry and the environment, and we’re excited to keep leading with innovation, integrity, and impact.

Strengthening Our Presence in Western Canada

B&L Pipeco Services is expanding our presence in the Canadian OCTG market!

We’re proud to announce that we’ve acquired an ownership stake in Calgary-based Varigate Tubulars Ltd. This partnership strengthens our existing Canadian operations and immediately broadens our reach.

By bringing together the expertise of the BLPS Canada team with Varigate’s experienced sales force and respected leadership, we’re building one of the most formidable OCTG distribution platforms in Western Canada.
