Tip Tuesday......Proper measuring for suit coverage.
There has been many questions asked on how to properly measure suit bottoms to ensure they meet the requirements for the stage. For those that compete in GBO and other natural federations that require to have 2/3 of the suit covering the glutes, it is important that you and your suit maker understand how to measure the suit. Below I have provided some illustrations of where and how to measure the bottoms. One of the common mistakes is the suit maker adds too much material all over the suit instead of in the seat area; which covers up a lot of the glutes which you work hard on. Furthermore the area needing the coverage is in the seat area. If you heard me speak on this topic before, it is important for judging purposes to see the development but for it to be tastefully done. Therefore proper measurement is key!!! On my illustrations and talking with some of my suit makers, 2.5 is the proper measurement considering the scrunching of the material. You will lose some of that with that effect giving you the required 2.3.
For shape girls depending on your development you may need the 3.5 to display the same coverage and effect. Which again I have given an illustration of the measurement and cut of a suit.
In addition, I have provided a side by side picture of what it possibly (everyone's glutes are different) looks like in a back pose.
I will post some helpful pictures for Figure suits as well so you can have a reference. As well as for bikini competitors competing in other federations.
As always I hope this is helpful information and if you have questions you are welcome to ask!!

Pro Level Tip............. I get asked quite frequently which shoes are the best to wear when it comes to the stage??🤔 And does it matter.
The answer is absolutely yes!!!! If you are posing from head to toe as you should be the right shoe will make the world of difference!!! 1) a must with almost every one of my clients is to buy shoes with straps. It gives you more stability, security and comfort. 2) shoes with a flat surface. The ball of your foot and your heel is doing majority of the work, therefore that flat surface allows ease with transitions. 3) easier to learn and work through higher pro level transitions which makes posing flawless. 4) if you are a beginner it helps with balance and transitions by keeping the foot on flat surface to help you glide in poses versus concentrate so much on every step such as in platform heels. 5) the heel is important because your weight should be sitting in your heels. 6) the style or how pretty the shoe is is inconsequential to the judges. We do not look at your shoes but are looking at your physique and whether or not you are able to display it correctly through your posing. As long as it is a clear shoe you are good. Therefore get a shoe that is comfortable and allows you to Pose Like A Pro🙌🏽 When working with my posing clients we always pose in the heels. I do not recommend wearing socks because you will not have socks on the day of show. Practice as if it is the real thing and you will not have to make adjustments!💪🏽 Have questions???? Please feel free to contact me or interested in posing???? ➡️➡️➡️➡️DM me

Do I travel with clients? I am asked that often.
My goal is to be with my clients as much as possible. If I do not have a show or anything scheduled, I do try to travel with my clients. It is important to have that support of your coach. Generally I go with who has the largest group. For example if I have one client in Houston and 5 competing in Austin I will be with the group, the need is greater. Recently I traveled to Austin to be with my husband and wife team! And in July I will be in Oklahoma with my team of about 6 competitors. One of the greatest accomplishments is to be with your clients and prepare them from start to finish to grace the stage!!!
