Good morning Wayne Boys Soccer parents, players and fans!

The following pictures are of our calendar (something errored during our save and file share process, so we apologize for the look) for June and July.

Notable dates:

Youth Camp— June 15-18.
We still need some players to volunteer to help with Youth Camp! Please contact Coach Kurt if you are able to help!

Coerver Team Camp— June 22-25.
Coerver requires us to have at least 20 players signed up for camp. Coach Kurt will be sending out a link soon for players to sign up for team camp!

Piqua Scrimmages— July 23rd.
This will be for anyone who plans to try out for the team this fall and is a great way for the coaches to see how players play in a game-style setting against players from another school before tryouts. More information will be given out closer to the date.

Alter Preseason Friendlies— July 25th.
This will be open to any returning Wayne Boys Soccer Varsity players and any players invited to join. More information will be given out closer to the date.

Not on the Calendar:

Goalkeeper Training Session— June 13th, 6-8PM at Studebaker Practice Fields.
This is open to anyone interested in playing Goalkeeper for the team this fall. We will cover some basic fundamentals of Goalkeeping.

Boys Soccer Weekly Schedule 5/31-6/6:

Sunday 5/31- Open Fields 7-8:30PM

Open fields are open to any HHCS Student that will be in 9-12th grade this coming school year who plans on playing for the Boys Soccer team this fall. Open fields will be held at Heidkamp Stadium at Wayne High School unless otherwise specified. Again, this is for student athletes planning on playing boys soccer at Wayne this fall. Graduates, alumni, non-HHCS students, and anyone that will be in middle school this year will be turned away. Thank you.

Following the conclusion of tonight’s open fields we will be off for 2 weeks, with our next event being Open Fields on June 14th, leading directly into our annual Youth Camp June 15-18. We do need student athlete volunteers to help with youth camp, so if you are able, please let Coach Kurt or Coach Billy know at Open Fields tonight or contact Coach Kurt via email.

Team Camp (NOT YOUTH CAMP):
This year’s team camp will be June 22-25 from 5-7PM. This is for anyone who will be playing Boys Soccer at Wayne this fall. The cost of camp is $60 and we need a minimum of 20 players for us to hold camp. Please reach out to Coach Kurt via email for any questions.

🚨Wayne Soccer Camp 2026 Registration🚨

Reminder that Wayne Soccer Camp Registration is still ongoing! Camp t-shirts are being ordered MONDAY JUNE 1st! If you want to ensure that your camper gets their camp shirt, you must REGISTER AND PAY by Monday. A limited number of extra shirts will be ordered, so if you are not registered and paid by end of day Monday, there is no guarantee your camper will get a shirt in their size.

All weightlifting and open field sessions are open to any HHCS student currently in 8-11th grade planning on playing boys soccer this fall at Wayne High School.

4TH QUARTER GRADES DETERMINE FALL ELIGIBILITY
Players, please make sure your grades are good enough to play this fall. There are just 2 weeks of school left, which means you have 2 weeks to either keep your grades up or get them where they need to be!

🚨Team Camp Information🚨
This week, a link will be sent to all players signed up to play this fall regarding sign-ups for our team camp. This is for players planning to play for Wayne High School Boys Soccer this fall (NOT FOR THE YOUTH CAMP). This years’ team camp will be from June 22-25. Cost will be $60 per player. We are required to have a minimum of 20 players signed up to hold camp. Please check your email for that sign up link. If you are not signed up to receive emails for the 2026 season, or have any questions about team camp, please contact Coach Kurt.

The 2026 Wayne Youth Soccer Camp, hosted by the Wayne High School Boys and Girls Soccer teams, is an annual camp where young players from Kindergarten to 8th grade can come and learn basic soccer fundamentals and skills! This year’s camp will be from June 15th-18th and will last from 6-8PM at the Boys and Girls Soccer practice fields behind Studebaker on Longford Rd. The cost is $65 per player. There are no open fields this week, as Sunday 5/10 is Mother’s Day! Please enjoy the time at home with your family and celebrate the amazing moms we have supporting our student athletes!

NOTE: All lifting and open field sessions are open to any student at Huber Heights City Schools who is currently in 8th-11th grade (will be a freshman through senior NEXT school year) and is interested/plans on playing Boys Soccer this fall.

Players, please make sure your grades are well enough that you will be eligible this fall and keep them there through the remainder of the school year. YOU MUST HAVE at least a 2.0 GPA AND NO MORE THAN ONE F, though no failing grades are always preferable!
