Big News from Leadership Martial Arts!

We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Lynnette Barrineau has received her letter of recommendation to test to 2nd Degree Black Belt!
Ms. Barrineau has been a steady example of leadership, kindness, and genuine desire to bring out the best in others. She has a remarkable ability to slow things down, think clearly in the moment, and create meaningful learning experiences, both for the classes she teaches and for each individual student she engages with.
A gifted instructor, Ms. Barrineau brings confidence, camaraderie, and an approachable, down to earth presence to our teaching team. She connects with students in a way that makes them feel supported, understood, and capable. Her patience, insight, and thoughtful communication elevates the learning environment and strengthens the community around her.

Ms. Barrineau’s qualities make her not only a strong leader, but also a trusted friend and an exceptional training partner. Her impact is felt both on and off the mat, and we are grateful for the heart and dedication she brings to our program.

Big News from Leadership Martial Arts!

We are thrilled to announce that Samuel has received his letter of recommendation to test for his First Degree Black Belt!
Sam is a steady presence on the mat and a fun, engaging training partner. Serious about his martial art practice, he shows up with intensity, energy, and a willingness to put in the work. Knocking out 50 knuckle push-ups on the mat is just one example of the perseverance and physical strength he brings to his training.

As a growing leader, Sam demonstrates mental fortitude not only through his confidence, but also through his humility. He is gracious, quick to jump in when there is a need, and willing to take action to help. Sam is someone you can count on to support those around him and get the job done. He is eager to step into leadership and continues to seek opportunities to develop his skills and serve others.

Outside of the academy, Sam carries that same sense of service into his involvement with his local church and with the Civil Air Patrol. With a strong sense of duty and a desire to serve his country, he aspires to attend the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and become a Marine.

Sam, it’s exciting to think that your Black Belt journey has only begun! We eagerly anticipate the impact you’ll continue to make as a martial artist, a leader, and a servant to others. Keep building on your strength, your humility, and your willingness to serve. Congratulations!
