Snapchat showed me this memory from four years ago, December 29, 2020 I checked the memories and I was 153lbs! I’m currently 173lbs at 5’ 3”!I really used to stand in the mirror, pulling at my skin, trying to imagine my natural waistline without all the excess skin from pregnancy and weight loss. About three years ago, I underwent a tummy tuck and BBL, and being in the fitness world taught me that our bodies go through phases, insecurities, and transitions. Every phase is valid!

Sometimes I don’t even recognize the woman on the left. 🥹

I loss 76lbs, inches off my waist, toned up, and gained confidence! It was only the beginning! A tummy tuck, lipo, and BBL marked my transformation, and today, nearly 3 years post-op, my story is one of resilience.

I stumbled along the way – I was motivated but fell into starvation diets, endless cardio, misguided food choices leading to binge eating. Exercises that made my diastases recti worst.

❌The scale dictated my days as I desperately sought guidance.
❌I would be losing weight for a few weeks then hit a plateau
❌The gym felt daunting, diets failed, and fear lingered. I was frustrated.
❌Carbs were my perceived enemy, clothes didn’t fit as flattering, and a healthy lifestyle eluded me.

Realization struck – surgery demanded commitment. I disciplined myself, defying misconceptions. I increased carbs, embraced more calories, and learned to eat sensibly while reducing cardio. Surgery wasn’t a magic fix; it required ongoing effort. I fell in love with the journey!

✅ Toning persists as fat diminishes; my BBL is BBL-ing. 🗣️
✅ My mental health blossomed, enhancing my overall life quality.
✅ Weight management brought lasting results; the pounds never returned.
✅ I mastered fueling my body, consuming 2245 calories daily.

This journey wasn’t just about surgery; it was about consistent effort. My dream turned into reality, a testament that dreams, when pursued with determination, do come true.

What Dedication looks like for me! I loss 76lbs in 9 months.

I had a tummy tuck, lipo and BBL following my weight loss! I’m just under 3 yrs post op.

I made some mistakes on this journey! Starvation Diets! Doing a ton of cardio! And cutting out entire food groups only to binge eat then later. I was on the scale daily! I searched high and low for programs to guide me through my post op journey. Just 1 dedicated resource for women having plastic surgery and wanted to workout.

❌ The gym didn’t work because I lacked the knowledge of what to do, I tried diets, workouts, trainers, teas.
❌ Had a fear of being in the gym not knowing what to do or how to use the equipment.
❌ I thought Carbs were the devil
❌ Clothes didn’t fit as flattering
❌ Still didn’t know how to incorporate a healthy lifestyle (workouts & nutrition) to optimize surgical results.

I understood when getting surgery you have to maintain it. I got disciplined! I INCREASED MY CARBS AND MY CALORIES. I had to learn to EAT MORE and DO LESS CARDIO. I also realized carbs aren’t bad! I was bad with Carbs!! Seeing the weight come off before surgery and my dream body come through! Motivated me to keep it up after surgery! Doc did her thing too! This isn’t all surgery though! I still have to do my part to maintain not just my results from surgery but all the hard work of losing weight! I

✅ I continue to tone as I drop fat and keep my BBL BBL-ing
✅ I have enhanced mental health, and improved my quality of life
✅Weight management for permanent long lasting results. I haven’t gained the weight back! 👏🏾
✅ I know how to fuel my body! Food is fuel and I eat 2245 calories a day!

I know I manifested this but I’m not going to lie I didn’t know I’d actually do it until I just did it. I only imagined my body could look this amazing! 🥹

In this season of building I just like to say I do “Human”!

I fall off my consistency! I eat pizza! I sneak the kids snacks! Those James ruffles have a chick hold on me sometimes! I have to literally avoid the chip aisle. The kids will not have chips either. 🤣 I have to avoid the entire aisle! I say screw my faja and cardio?!! Ish gets real real!!

Then I pep talk myself! Why did I start?!

I started for all the women around me who were searching for answers! Not the BS version but the raw truth! How is your body banging like that? Who is your surgeon? Dang do you recommend them? Did they almost kill you? Stop lying to people! The Fit BBL is for the women who want that physique that just “thick different”.
