BYR will offer individual and small group training this summer. Our program is for athletes 6th grade and up who are interested in track and field related training. We have spots open for runners, jumpers and throwers. We will keep our numbers low this summer so please contact coach Josh asap to reserve your spot.

The 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo saw AAU alumni take center stage with more than 150 total AAU alumni competing in this year's Games in sports such as beach volleyball, diving, taekwondo, karate, wrestling, basketball, and, of course, track and field. Of those 150, more than 50 athletes competed on the track.
We are proud to report 23 out of 54 AAU track and field alumni took home a medal at this year’s Olympics.
"The gold, silver, and bronze medals won by our alumni exemplify AAU Track and Field's mission to offer the premier developmental program for athletes across the United States from which AAU provides the foundation for success at the highest level of our sport, the Olympic Games."

We will have a brief parent meeting Monday to discuss Junior Olympics and other opportunities to compete in the upcoming weeks. If your athlete qualified for Junior Olympics and you cannot attend Monday please get in contact with Coach Josh by Thursday.

Sorry guys I did a horrible job getting pictures today but they are coming. After our first full day of competition we have a few junior Olympic qualifiers. Sunny finished first in her very first meet throwing javelin, Jordyn “Brianna” had a big PR and finishes second in Javelin, Brandon faced a tough field of throwers but still had a qualifying mark. All of our javelin throwers punched their ticket to the Junior Olympics. Jailyn also pulled off a win and qualified in a steeple chase. We had a number of young athletes compete in their first AAU events. Ava, Allisen, Kaiden, Kynslie, Destiny, Kamryn, and Daniel all gained some great experience that will help mold them into future qualifiers. All in all it was a great day of competition. Can’t wait to see what day two has in store.
