Garmin and DAN have introduced a new connection between satellite emergency response and specialist diving medical support.

Divers with an active inReach subscription and DAN membership can now add their membership number to Garmin Emergency Notes, making it easier for Garmin Response to coordinate with DAN during a diving-related emergency.

For remote diving and liveaboard travel, it is a useful piece of preparation worth checking before the next trip.
