Larkspur Acres Larkspur Acres is a Hunter Jumper Training Facility and lesson program! Larkspur Acres is a Hunter/Jumper facility housed at Kingwood Stables.

L.A accommodates all levels of riders from beginners, students who want to continue training and students who would like to compete on our show team. Our trainer and owner, Sydney Lamphier also provides training for all levels of horses from green horses in need of training to school masters in need of consistent training. Larkspur Acres tries to accommodates every rider and horse. Our beautiful facility has a covered arena as well as an outdoor jumping arena. With an air conditioned tack room for our boarders, safe lesson horses and a quality and positive training program, Larkspur Acres is the perfect place to begin or continue your riding.

What a fun week at the Texas Rose Classic!

⭐️ Art I A Emy Award & Kate made their jumper debut! They had top placings in the cross-rail jumpers and then stepped up to the .65 jumpers, securing a fifth-place ribbon! After every single round, Kate gave Emy the biggest pat and hug. I absolutely love this team, and I can’t wait to watch them continue putting the pieces together!

⭐️ Here Comes Joey 3 & Keaton made their rated show debut together and did amazing! They started the week in the .75 and .85 with 1st and 2nd place finishes, then finished the week in the .90 & .95 divisions with top placings again! Joey and Keaton gain more confidence and precision with every show. This young team is one to watch!

⭐️ Parabelle Car & Peyton had an amazing week! They secured a blue ribbon in the .85 before stepping into the 1.0 division for the rest of the week. Every time they stepped into the ring, their rounds got better and better—they really became a team this week! They brought home a ribbon each day in huge classes, and on Sunday they stepped into the 1.05 Classic and finished 10th with a snagged rail. Big things ahead for this duo!!

We are so excited for Morgan and The Boswell family as they welcome “Limited Status of Genesis” - Goldie into their family. 💛🐴

We are so excited to welcome this special mare to the Larkspur Acres team and can’t wait to watch Morgan and Goldie grow together both in and out of the show ring. Their journey is just beginning, and we know they have an exciting future ahead!

✨ Larkspur Acres had an incredible weekend at the GHHJA Show! ✨

⭐️ Gayfields Listen Up and owner/rider Locklyn made their show debut in style, dominating the Walk-Trot division and earning Reserve Champion both days!

⭐️ Art I A Emy Award and Kate stepped back into the Crossrail division, putting in beautiful rounds and bringing home top placings throughout the weekend.

Our Itty Bitty Jumper riders had an outstanding show filled with progress and personal bests!

💚 Here Comes Joey 3 and Keaton showed tremendous improvement from show to show, earning Reserve Champion on Saturday and a 2nd place finish in the Jumper Classic!

💎 Diamond Andarna and Katy had their best show yet! After strong performances and great placings on Saturday, they finished the weekend as Reserve Champion on Sunday.

🌹 Riveting Rose and Louisa are becoming quite the speed team, bringing home top ribbons both days and placing 7th in the Jumper Classic!

🐉 Parabelle Car and Peyton focused on refining their course work in the Schooling Jumpers on Saturday, staying in the top ribbons and earning 3rd in the Jumper Classic. On Sunday, they stepped up to the Junior/Adult Jumpers, sweeping all three rounds with blue ribbons! 💙

🐬🩶 Ode to Honor made his show-ring debut this weekend, taking in all the sights and sounds of the showgrounds while improving every day. This talented green bean earned 4th in his flat class on Saturday and bravely tackled the big ring with a Puddle Jumper round on Sunday!

Congratulations to all of our riders, horses, and families for a fantastic weekend. We are so proud of everyone’s hard work, growth, and accomplishments!

We had the best time cross-training in our dressage clinic today!✨
The difference in the rides from start to finish was incredible—so much improvement in balance, connection, and overall rideability. Days like this are such a great reminder of how important flatwork is for success over fences.

We’re so excited to carry this work into our riding and courses. Can’t wait for the next one! 🐴💪
